The Heart of Oregon Corps is looking for a dedicated forestry professional to provide training and supervision for a crew of at-risk young adults in Central Oregon. Position requires working knowledge of forestry practices and construction techniques, demonstrated ability to operate power tools (including chain saw), and ability to teach and enforce work safety requirements. Experience working with young adults required, at-risk populations is highly desired. Must be able to organize and plan work effectively while securing the cooperation and productivity of a group though leadership. FT, year-round, salaried position with benefits.
