Clean Energy Service Corps is a Heart of Oregon program run in partnership with Bend Area Habitat for Humanity. In this program young adults are given the opportunity to gain weatherization and construction skills on a Habitat for Humanity job site while working toward a GED or High School diploma, or toward education goals in College Preparatory and/or College Credit classes.

Young adults will spend 3-4 days per week working alongside both construction professionals as well as volunteers from the community, gaining both employment readiness skills as well the opportunity to gain invaluable training in the fast growing field of Clean Energy and Weatherization. 1-2 days per week will be spent working toward individual education goals as well as participating in activities in service to the community. If you are looking to begin or continue your education but might not be ready for full immersion in school, and are also interested in job training in the skills listed above, then CESC is perfect for you!
