Our Corpsmembers

Heart of Oregon Corps has provided "work, learn, and earn" training and wage opportunities for youth who characteristically have few prior job skills, but many prior difficulties in connection to their schools, peers, and communities. Heart of Oregon Corps takes referrals from families, justice agencies, case managers, and school counselors, all frustrated with engaging and keeping youth involved in positive work, peer, learning, and recreational habits. Central Oregon Conservation Corps is unique in that at-risk and disconnect youth work side-by-side with peers who are excelling in a traditional high school environment—both drawn to the program by excellent training, career exposure, and summer employment.
